Infinite Solutions is hiring a talented System Engineer professional to join our team. We are looking for a person with positive approach toward task assignments and who can easily fit in the organization.
Job description:
The System Engineer is technical consultant/engineer with a focus on Microsoft Technologies and ICT Infrastructure including various Servers, Storage Systems, Routers, Firewalls, etc. As an System Engineer you will be responsible for design, development, implementation, support and improvement of company and company’s customers infrastructure.
Day to day responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure
- Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, Databases application software and system management tools
- Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
- Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes
- Maintain security, backup, restore and redundancy strategies
- Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks
- Participate in the design of system solutions
- Provide 2nd and 3rd level support
- Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
Requirements:
- University degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent
- Background in IT infrastructure, Windows Systems, Storage, Databases, Network, Virtualization and other IT areas
- Technical understanding of Microsoft Azure IaaS/PaaS
- Willingness to learn new technologies
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Relevant professional experience of at least 3 years.
