MASIT ICT Awards 2014” for outstanding achievements in the field of ICT were held on 17.06.2014 at FINKI.
The most innovative solutions of the Macedonian ICT companies were presented in the following categories:
- Public sector solutions
- Private sector solutions
- Mobile excellence solutions
Infinite Solutions won the award for best solution in the private sector at the ”MASIT ICT Awards 2014” for the solution “Customer Care Solution – Call Center” for Balkan Energy Group.
Infinite Solutions @ SEEITA and MASIT Open Days
MASIT – the Chamber of Information and Communication Technology and the European Business Association – EBA, organized conference “European Day of Entrepreneurship and SEEITA and MASIT Open Days”, on the 29th of October in Hotel Alexander Palace, Skopje.
The conference was an excellent opportunity to get an insight of the most innovative solutions, as well as the upcoming trends in the ICT industry, with a special emphasis on:
- Cloud computing
- 4G
- Mobile technologies
- Creative industries
- Social innovation
- IT quality standards
Representatives of the most relevant institutions of the Republic of Macedonia, representatives of City of Skopje, delegation of EU, representatives from MASIT and EBA, national and regional IT associations and chambers, representatives of the SME sector, owners of a huge number of companies (from Kosovo, Serbia, Turkey, Croatia), representatives from the Swiss foundation for technical cooperation, students and representatives from the Educational Academy attended the conference.

City of Skopje and “Universal Hall” Skopje, through the project-platform for development of the creative industries and in cooperation with the business sector of Macedonia announced five contests for design and development of new creative products and services on which all creative individuals, associations, citizens and companies that operate and work in the area of creative industries have been invited to participate.
Infinite Solutions has joined this great initiative and invited all the IT Designers and creative individuals from Macedonia to take part in their call for designing and developing software product which will be sold on the market and for which a real need in the everyday life of the citizens will be created. The best business idea will be awarded with a certain money award and possibility for its joint realization with Infinite Solutions.
The project “Skopje creative” is one of the major priorities of the City of Skopje, which aims of promotion, affirmation and creation of specific products and services that will be competitive not only on the Macedonian market, but in the world market as well. The idea of this project is to enable a stronger connection between the creative industries on one hand and the business community on the other hand, and to raise the awareness of the importance of such collaborations, and also to increase the profitability of this industry as a whole.
This contest, as noted by the Mayor of City of Skopje Mr. Koce Trajanovski is opening great opportunities for work and engagement of persons involved in such initiatives, and enables a special importance of artistic expression in the creative industry.
On 14th of October 2014 at the Holiday Inn Hotel Infinite Solutions and Microsoft have jointly organized and delivered a one-day event-presentation of the Microsoft Dynamics product for mid-size businesses, for retail and warehousing: Microsoft Dynamics Retail Management System. The purpose of the event was to present ideas on how to increase and simplify sales and make management of the companies very easy, with topics that included:
- How to manage globaly the whole chain of stores and retail business
- How to track transactions in real-time
- How to increase sales with cross sales, up-sales, offerings, descounts…
- Total Inventory and stock control, purchasing and goods transfer in stores and warehouses in real time
- Instant creation of Promotions and Bundel of items for a single store or for sales channels
- Scheduling master data changes in advance for certain period for one or multiple stores
- Create and maintain Customer Loyalty
- Complete reporting system on HQ and store level
- Multiple tender types, integrations with specific retail-hardware out-of-box
- Guided purchasing, inter-store transfers and customer ordering (work orders, backorders, quotes, special orders…)
- How to control workers and increase their productivity with automated processes in the front or back office of the stores
- Invest in your marketing and image with labeling, customized receipts and reports
- All integrated out-of-box with Microsoft products, user-friendly and recognition of the investment by Microsoft.
The event was very well attended by various retail companies, which gave a very positive feedback and expressed great interest in the presented software solution.
Infinite Solutions in cooperation with NetApp and Microsoft organized a one-day event (14.05.2014), during which the following topics were covered:

- Next Generation Storage Platform
- Microsoft Virtualization models for small, medium and large organizations.
