Microsoft Dynamics 365FO Functional Consultant – Focus Supply Chain Management

Infinite Solutions is looking for a D365 Functional Consultant who specializes in implementing and optimizing the Supply Chain Management module which includes engineering, manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution. Their responsibilities involve configuring, customizing, and fine-tuning the Dynamics 365 Supply Chain features to meet the specific needs of organizations involved in manufacturing, distribution, and logistics.

What you will be doing:

• Work closely with clients to understand their specific supply chain processes and requirements.
• Gather detailed information about procurement, inventory management, demand planning, and logistics workflows.
• Configure Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management module settings based on the gathered requirements.
• Set up parameters for procurement, inventory, demand forecasting, and other relevant configurations.
• Customize the Supply Chain Management module to address unique industry or organizational needs.
• Implement and optimize procurement processes, including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and vendor management.
• Configure sourcing strategies and collaboration with suppliers.
• Configure inventory management processes, including tracking raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
• Optimize inventory control strategies, warehouse management, and cycle counting.
• Implement demand forecasting and planning functionalities.
• Configure forecasting models, manage demand profiles, and optimize inventory levels.
• Configure logistics and transportation management features.
• Optimize routing, carrier selection, and freight management for efficient supply chain operations.
• Implement features that enable collaboration with suppliers for improved communication and efficiency.
• Set up vendor portals and implement electronic data interchange (EDI) for seamless information exchange.
• Configure warehouse processes for efficient goods handling and order fulfillment.
• Optimize picking, packing, and shipping workflows.
• Ensure seamless integration with other Dynamics 365 modules, such as Finance and Operations.
• Collaborate with other functional consultants to create an end-to-end business process.
• Provide training sessions for end-users on how to use the Supply Chain Management module.
• Develop user manuals, process documentation, and training materials.
• Conduct thorough testing of the Supply Chain Management module to identify and resolve any issues.
• Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) with key stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimization within the Supply Chain Management module.
• Stay informed about updates and new features in Dynamics 365 to leverage improvements.
• Maintain clear and open communication with clients to ensure alignment with their evolving supply chain needs.
• Provide regular updates on project progress and address any concerns.
• Provide ongoing support to end-users post-implementation.
• Address and resolve issues, implement updates, and assist with system maintenance.

Desired Skills & Experience

Mandatory Competency Requirements:

• University degree in Economics, Computer Science or a related discipline or ERP Consulting more than 5 years;
• Professional experience of at least 3 years as ERP Consultant(preferably Microsoft Dynamics D365 Consultant) with references (contact person and phone number or e-mail)
• Excellent knowledge of English
• Diplomas and certificates are considered as an advantage
• Ability to work independently and in the team, communication with customers, diagnostics and troubleshooting, work standards, the ability to manage their time and tasks
